Brainstorming is a technique which helps people to solve a problem creatively. Alex Faickney Osborn was the first person to introduce this technique in 1953 in a popular book called Applied Imagination, which motivates people to expose their ideas for the best solution. Many problems such as productivity of an employee, social loafing, production blocking, distraction, etc. can be effectively eliminated by brainstorming.

Example of how to do brainstorming?

Brainstorming session will be very effective when it is done in groups. Select a topic to do Brainstorming. Let say, for example, Project A consist of x y and z activities to be completed within a time period. Take a paper and pen and write down all the ideas that you can possibly do the work with high quality and in quick time. All the people in the group must write down their own ideas and submit to the facilitator. Facilitator is a person who heads up the brainstorming session. Finally take all the practical ideas and implement it, this is the way to do brainstorming.

How Brainstorming helps to increase the Productivity of the company.

Important factor which determines the growth of any company relies on employee’s productivity. High levels of employee’s productivity can result in more profit and growth of the company. The growth of a company is in the productivity of the employee morale. If the productivity increases then the growth comes to the company in several ways such as in the form of more funds, more clients and companies can get quality employee’s result in the increase of Goodwill and increase in the number of clients to the company.

Maximum productivity should be done by the worker so that today’s global workplace can be re designated by him. Productivity should be done in an immense manner for the welfare of the company.

How low Productivity affects the company?

More payment has caused the labors to produce less productivity. Another one, the main cause is that employee managing their time wisely. Flexible working hours has made many workers to waste their time leisurely. Unfortunately, a negative morale when it is induced among employees can create poor outcome for the company.

How Brainstorming helps the workers for company’s benefit?

Brainstorming can effectively solve all kinds of problems and make the workers act as a better tool to the company. Traditional brainstorming is more energetic and helps the employees to redefine the productivity and to share, build and renovate new ideas. Brainstorming sessions among the employees can volley them to co-operate and map their effective ideas.

Overall, Brainstorming helps a great deal in improving the productivity and blows up each employee’s mind creativity which results in quick company’s growth, all the companies must employ Brainstorming session for employees frequently in order to get the best out of each employee.

People are not aware of insurance in previous days. At present, insurance awareness has made dramatic changes in between the people. Insurance management undergoes various processes like analyzing marketing, claiming, risk management, loss prevention, and so on. Insurance policies for expected & unexpected happenings are of many types. Each company has a special feature in their products and the products should reach the publics.

For public awareness, there are various techniques being handled by the company like advertisements in the media. Risk management or risk handling is the main process that takes place during the risk management. Risks can be avoided only when the insurer or the company has a proper portfolio management.

What is Portfolio management

There are various ways by which we can identify the sources of finance, accessing the fund’s requirement and evaluating the source of time, cost and its availability according to the needs of the corporate. This type of management is being done by the chartered accountant, and they provide a huge service to the insurance sector, and they serve people as an advising agent even outside the concern also.

The company should always find its alternatives to find the avenues of the investments of its funds. So the corporate as well as a customer should have a better knowledge about their fund investments, and it is good to know about the IRDA rules and regulations instead we can also have an accountant. Accountants can guide us in a best way of choice.

The main process of portfolio management usually depends on the decision with the concern of reinsurance of risks. An insurer should always know about risk involved in the insurance and should know how to transfer if there is excess of risk involved.

Three Ways to Learn about your customers

Most of the modern businesses suffer a lot through competition, but there is really a solution to overcome the competition and excel well in your business. The solution is to learn about your customers, this might be a difficult process but over a period of time, this strategy will give you lot of business plus more referrals to your business. Let us know about what are the ways to learn about a customer.

Way 1 – Characteristics of a customer

You need to collect the background information about each customer in some ways, I know its difficult but mostly this can happen as your regular customers will really do it for you, and you can conduct a competition and you can announce an attractive price for those customers filling up the form. Just collect this basic information and store it in a software or manually. I would suggest to design a software which can store all the details of the customer so that you can search and find out the statistics easily without wasting the time.

Collect information about the basic things such as their age, Income, occupation, education and geographic factors.

After finding out the basic information you categorize each customer and find out which group of customers has a more buying capacity.

Which group of customers has got the highest and frequent transaction records?

Way 2 – Customer Motivation

This is the process you can adapt for collecting more information about your customer discount coupons, polls, competition and freebies these things have to be done periodically so that the customer feel that they will get the benefit out of purchasing from your store either from the price, the gift you offer plus with professional service before sales and after sales. By doing this on each process you can conduct a survey to get more information from the client.

By finding out the primary motivator for purchasing a product in your store

What type of gifts , rewards. they are attracted.

Primary decision making factors for a customer to purchase it from your store such as the price, quality and good after sales service.

Find out a successful marketing strategy for each customer group

Way 3 – Communicating with the customer

Communication must be a two way, you have all the contact details, once in a year or every Christmas just greet them with a greeting card, email them your offers, SMS them through mobile, drag them to come to your store by giving discounts on a time limit basis. These things you can do to bring your existing customers to the store and also good referrals.

These are the 3 ways to learn about a customer just follow it and increase your turnover in a year of time.
